About “Sternstunden”
For 30 years, Sternstunden has been supporting sick, disabled, and vulnerable children in Bavaria and around the world. The goal of the Bayerischer Rundfunk charity campaign is to provide help as quickly and easily as possible. Thanks to the generosity of countless people, Sternstunden has already raised more than 394 million euros, supporting 3,897 children’s aid projects.
A clear focus on sustainability
To provide long-term assistance to the children affected and improve their living conditions, the foundation focuses on supporting projects with a sustainable impact. As a result, many project organizations around the world receive repeated funding to ensure that their efforts are sustained over the long term and can be scaled up.
