However, troubleshooting in a large-scale facility is extremely complex. Who carried out production? Which tanks were used, at what temperature, and at what stirring speed? Companies that rely on manual processes here—which entail a high administrative burden—are squandering valuable resources and opportunities.

In a groundbreaking project for our client, we developed a custom-designed MES system with digital Batch Traceability and all the desired features. And we did it practically from scratch—after all, up until then, all batch data had been recorded manually during production.

Thanks to the customized software component linked to the MES, the operator can quickly and easily create, manage, and track batches. All materials and batches used in the production process are recorded and stored in real time. In the event of contamination, production defects within various mixing batches can be quickly identified, and the appropriate measures can be initiated. The operator essentially clicks their way through the production process.
